EDFUND.net is a tool created by EDFUND to offer schools and students the ability to view and process student loan information over the Internet using a Web browser.

Important Notes

Students
You will need your school code and Social Security number in order to log in to EDFUND.net. In addition, your information will only appear in the EDFUND.net database if your school is an EDFUND.net participant. To determine if your school is a participant, ask your financial aid office staff, or contact EDFUND at 1.888.22FFELP (1.888.223.3357).

Schools
A user name and password are required to log in to the school section of EDFUND.net. To obtain a user name and password, contact your EDFUND Client Relations Manager or call us toll free at 1.888.22FFELP (1.888.223.3357).

All Users
Because use of EDFUND.net involves the transmission of confidential information, it requires a browser with 128-bit encryption. Scroll down for more information about browser compatibility and free browser downloads.

We realize how important information security and confidentiality are to EDFUND customers. That is why we've taken several steps to ensure that transmissions of sensitive information via EDFUND's secure applications are accomplished in the most secure way possible.

One key step we have taken is to require the use of a browser that supports 128-bit encryption. Encryption prevents anyone who may try to intercept your data transmission from reading its contents. Currently, 128-bit encryption is the strongest form of data encryption commercially available.

Because we realize that some students are unable to access our site via 128-bit encryption, our products are available to students in 40-bit encryption. Students desiring a higher level of encryption for their personal information may elect to download a browser offering 128-bit encryption (see download links below).

Entities transmitting third parties' personal information (for example, schools and lenders) must use 128-bit encryption.
